Welcome to Cardiff Lifeguard. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and services. By accessing this website and/or engaging with our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.

1. General

1.1 Cardiff Lifeguard is a training provider, based in Cardiff, who offer lifeguarding courses, swimming teacher training, and other related services.
1.2 By enrolling in our courses or using our website, you confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria for the relevant course or service.
1.3 We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be updated on this page.

2. Bookings and Payments

2.1 All course bookings are subject to availability.
2.2 Full payment must be made at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.3 Payment methods accepted are BACS/Bank Transfer.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

3.1 Cancellations made by the participant more than 14 days before the course start date will receive a full refund, minus an administrative fee of £30.
3.2 Cancellations made less than 14 days before the course start date are non-refundable.
3.3 If Cardiff Lifeguard cancels a course, participants will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

4. Participant Responsibilities

4.1 Participants must adhere to the course requirements, including full attendance (this is a stipulation of achieving 100% attendance to get the NPLQ), timely submission of any pre-course materials, and compliance with health and safety guidelines.
4.2 Cardiff Lifeguard reserves the right to remove participants who fail to meet the course requirements or engage in inappropriate behaviour. No refund will be provided in such cases.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 All course materials, including but not limited to manuals, presentations, and digital content, are the intellectual property of Cardiff Lifeguard. These materials are provided for personal use only and must not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without prior written consent.

6. Liability

6.1 Cardiff Lifeguard takes all reasonable precautions to ensure participant safety during training. However, participants acknowledge that training may involve physical activities and accept responsibility for their own health and safety.
6.2 Cardiff Lifeguard is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during training unless caused by negligence on the part of Cardiff Lifeguard or its instructors.

7. Privacy Policy

7.1 Cardiff Lifeguard respects your privacy and complies with data protection regulations. Personal information provided during booking will only be used for course administration purposes. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing Law

8.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England & Wales.
